Your key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, including digital transformation initiatives and comprehensive measurement assessments and governance using established frameworks, such as the DGA Qiyas framework, to evaluate digital maturity across strategic perspectives
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to devise customized strategies that align with clients' digital transformation objectives, ensuring adherence to established measures, rules, and regulations
- Develop a digital strategy by engaging with senior stakeholders, analyzing current state assessments, identifying process gaps, and recommending digital and AI roadmaps based on maturity.
- Define business requirements and digital architecture for end-to-end processes, including their linkages with other upstream/downstream processes and functions.
- Possess a strong understanding of the overall technology stack and complementary digital technologies, such as LCNC, AI, ML, OCR, RPA, and analytics, to deliver fully digitally transformed processes.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to educate clients on digital best practices and emerging technologies.
- Ability to think like a business transformation consultant to deploy and leverage technologies to deliver desired business outcomes the client organization is aiming for.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Adapt to learn other digital technologies and participate in activities with team members with different technical expertise.
- Oversee risk, issue, and change management, maintaining mechanisms to manage change control, risks, and issues within specific projects.
- Utilize planning and reporting tools, including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or an equivalent field
- At least 6-8 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or similar organization
- In-depth knowledge of topics and updates from the technology sector
- At least 3 years of experience in Digital Strategy and Digital Transformation projects
- Project management skills and experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and engage with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to lead and work with cross functional teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong advisory and selling mindset
- Knowledge and understanding of the Middle East Government and Public Sector, including global trends
- Experience in driving large-scale change
- Experience in GPS, Oil & Gas, Investment funds or Power & Utilities sectors will be additional advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (verbal and written)
