  • The ability to develop relationships and work across business, cluster and functional areas in Citi
  • A Risk and Control mindset
  • A good working knowledge of the local JANA/AS regulatory environment
  • A solid understanding of Sales
  • Seasoned project management and technology capabilities
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts

Governance, Risk & Controls

  • Represent Sales COO on governance forums in conjunction with the Global Risk & Control team
  • Identify, prioritize and develop execution plans to address any emerging risks or regulatory developments
  • Own development of new Risk and Controls capabilities
  • Ensure the business is run in compliance with all internal and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate regulatory reviews
  • Assist in internal audit reviews, providing materials and address concerns arising from these reviews
  • Work with Sales to instill a strong culture of conduct and control

Business Management

  • Support sales heads and managers in day-to-day administration of the business
  • Support the business growth strategy and drive implementation of strategy
  • Work with Cluster Markets and Cluster Sales heads to manage Cluster Sales budget and headcount requirements, and understand financials and drivers
  • Manage Sales’ plan, outlook processes, and oversee monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Assist business heads in responding to changes in the environment

Human Capital Management

  • Manage a team of business management professionals in the JANA/AS clusters
  • Ensure the people strategy and organizational capabilities are aligned to business strategy
  • Attract, develop and retain talent; manage headcount and hiring processes
  • Drive internal mobility, diversity and inclusion priorities as well as location strategies

Experience, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Leadership skills to help manage a large, complex global business
  • Thorough understanding of markets; a minimum of 10 years relevant Markets experience
  • Understanding of the Risk and Controls environment
  • A solid understanding of Asian markets and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Credibility to lead, manage, motivate and influence a diverse population of direct reports across geographies, functions and matrix reporting lines
  • Superior problem-solving skills; pragmatic approach to ensure limited resources are directed appropriately
  • Have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
