The Core Rider team is the key pillar of our rider experience, engagement and retention strategy. You will understand, manage and optimise all elements within the rider toolkit with the goal of matching the right levers to the right customers and/or use cases.

The Impact You'll Have

  • Perform analysis to inform recommendations on key strategic questions. Examples include identifying opportunities in rider lifecycle, increasing new users and improve rider experience
  • Provide critical inputs into forecasting and planning, taking into account business seasonality, competitive pressure and other business constraints
  • Use quantitative and qualitative research tools to develop and refine customer segmentation
  • Build tailored strategies by segment and execute actionable and effective acquisition / retention campaigns
  • Help to define and execute compelling promotions and incentive structures that meet customer needs and commercial outcomes

The Experience You'll Bring

  • Education: University degree in a quantitative field, such as Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business/Commerce, Social Science, IT, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience applying analytics to tackle business problems (for example, in consulting, investment banking)
  • Business acumen: you have demonstrated knowledge of industry trends, competition, best practices, and other factors that affect profitability and business success
  • Problem solving: you are naturally curious and are motivated by solving problems, however complicated or ambiguous they may be. You have the ability to break down ambiguous problems by applying structure and using data-driven insights
  • Analytical skills: you can develop meaningful insights from complex data. You have experience with data analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization tools. You are highly proficient in Excel/Sheets; experience with SQL, Tableau, Python or similar is a plus!
  • Collaboration: you work well with other people and can handle engagement with multiple partners from different teams, locally and internationally
  • Initiative and ownership: you manage and deliver end-to-end projects with autonomy in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines, and you have demonstrated ability to coordinate, plan and prioritise tasks across multiple projects
  • Communication skills: you can effectively communicate complicated insights and arguments both verbally and in writing
