Description
You are responsible for building and executing system level automation testing efforts. In this role, you will build, document and work on testing Beats audio hardware and software. Additionally, you are responsible for analyzing and reporting test results, and working with experienced engineering teams to identify risk areas and characterize defects that are caught in automation tests (functional, stress and performance). Lastly, you are hands on, managing defect tracking, publishing automated test plans, reporting, and managing test automation execution by the test team. We may expect you to have excellent interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin. This is a high-visibility role within the organization that requires excellent trouble-shooting skills along with an ability to analyze and act upon the results of work which could be executed remotely.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a BS, MS in SE/CS/Mechatronics or related majors
- Having taken courses and with a solid foundation in Programming
- Proficient in Python3
- Great verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
- At least 3 months internship dedication is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Beats product
- Familiarity with both iPhone and Android phones
- Understanding of Audio fundamentals, Bluetooth, and Embedded Audio systems.
- 6 months internship dedication is preferred, and starting no later than April 2025.
