As a Software Development Engineer in Test Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Building, testing, and delivering core backend services and API's that provision and manage virtual machines in cloud
• Ensuring the quality of service for hundreds of thousands of Linodes running across our global datacentre network
• Understanding the overall software stack that makes us tick
• Working in an environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Possess expertise in Python, and/or in JS/Go/Pearl/Bash and test automation using frameworks such as Pytest, nosetest etc.
• Have working knowledge in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab etc
• Have hands-on experience with Linux/Unix OS
• Possess familiarity with RESTful APIs and developing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for appropriate coverage
• Have basic working knowledge of data networking protocols and applications, X.509 certificates/keys
• Have basic working knowledge of relational databases, like MySQL, PostgreSQL
