Fire Alarm Project Engineer
As a Fire Alarm Project Engineer at Honeywell, in the SouthRegion, you will be responsible for playing a crucial role in ensuring thesafety and protection of buildings by overseeing the installation andmaintenance of fire alarm systems, for managing projects, coordinating withclients and technicians, and ensuring compliance with industry standards andregulations. This is a field-based role with travel required and occasional overnightstays.
Key requirements
- Manage fire alarm service projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues during project implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated fire protection solutions
Key skills and qualifications
- Previous experience in fire alarm systems installation and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm codes, standards, and regulations
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience with Honeywell products such as GENT, Morley or Notifier would be advantageous
