What you'll do:

As Visual Design Intern you will work to effectively communicate our brand message and values to our customers while sticking to SAP’s overall brand strategy and style. The ideal candidate will require flexibility in that the workload will be split between static graphic design, user interfaces and light motion design. You will be tasked to work on a variety of projects including:

• Visually design business content and information through infographics, charts and illustrations
• Create UI mockups
• Animated videos and GIFs for thought leadership and social media content
• Research design trends, and industry best practices
• Develop interactive presentations following SAP corporate design principles

What you bring:

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Have a degree in or be studying Graphic Design, Visual Design, Motion Graphics, Industrial Design,
• Fluency in English
• Can work 3-4days a week for at least 6 months
• Ability to turn complex issues into simple, understandable, and well-designed visuals
• Must have a thorough understanding of design principles including composition, visual hierarchy, color, and balance
• Must have a portfolio that demonstrates skills visual design
• Have discipline to work independently and remotely
• Have a hands-on attitude and be proactive with communicating
• Manage and prioritize multiple design projects and fast deadlines
• Have a firm grasp of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator
• Previous experience working with Adobe XD, Figma, InVision or other UI tools
• Knowledge of After Effects and or Premier Pro is a plus, experience with transitions, compositing skills, animation, motion design and or dynamic interaction is also a plus
