Your Role and Responsibilities As a Power Systems Performance project manager your responsibilities would include – Managing end-to-end performance engineering planning and execution for IBM Power System hardware and software releases. You will be responsible for interlocking with stakeholders across the hardware, software and program management teams to understand program level plan, milestones and performance requirements. You will work with different performance engineering teams in creating an end-to-end performance engineering plan. You will be responsible for defining project milestones, interlocking dependencies, tracking and communication execution status and risks. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
15+ years of overall IT experience.
5+ years of experience as a project manager managing system/software releases
Experience in preparing detailed project plans and project status reports.
Experience using project management tools like Jira, RTC for planning & tracking.
Experience managing various project management methodologies like Agile/Scrum/Waterfall
Experience presenting to senior executives.
Good understanding of System Architecture and Operating System concepts
