As a Sr Advanced Project Engineer - Smart City Projects here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing complex, multi-domain building infrastructure projects in UAE. You will be responsible for supporting the installation and integration of smart city projects, addressing vertical-specific challenges, and driving energy improvement initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with end user customers to develop and execute project plans, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Abu Dhabi location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our smart city projects in UAE. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your technical expertise and leadership will drive the successful implementation of smart city solutions, enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of urban environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex, multi-domain building infrastructure projects in UAE
• Collaborate with end user customers to develop and execute project plans
• Support the installation and integration of smart city projects
• Address vertical-specific challenges and drive energy improvement initiatives
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project processes and efficiency

Key skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or computer science

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project engineering or related roles

• Experience working in smart city projects in medium to large scale.

• Strong leadership and project management skills

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills and
