The HW test designer is working on product programs together with R&D teams and production and ensuring the product's functionality, finding process faults and performance fulfills requirements. You are working together with SW and electro mechanics engineers and you are developing test applications which will be ramped up in Oulu site and transferred to global manufacturing sites. After product program ends your responsibility is transferred to maintenance team.

Even you are having dedicated area of development work, it allows you to utilize also possible other competences like SW developing, automation, electronic design and other related skills. You also may have counterparts in USA and China regions to share information and make concurrent design with them. Your colleagues will always help you with every day issues and train you to succeed with this job.

Your main responsibility will be to design test applications for new RF or Baseband products. In addition, the work includes:

• Co-operation globally with product and test designers, and factories
• Giving testability feedback on products
• Creating test application documentation
• Participation in problem-solving
• Validate your design functionality
