What you will do:
- Actively leads \ participates in regulatory and non-regulatory projects ensuring business requirements are understood and agreed by Change team and Technology
- Identifying potential problems and points of friction and finding solutions to maximize efficiency
- Identify and eliminate manual and bespoke processes to eliminate associated inherent risks
- Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for efficient operations
- Collaborate cross-departmentally to align operations with organizational objectives
- Analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities and cost savings
- Create customized transaction services reports based on data analysis
- Monitor and research errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
- Resolve transaction services issues and use technical expertise/ judgment to conduct complex analysis
- Anticipate and respond to requests for transaction deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors
- Develop and recommend strategic decisions based off in-depth comprehension of how the payments operations team interacts with others business unites in accomplishing objectives
- Assist with providing informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team members as required
What we'll need from you:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the banking sector or financial industries, specifically in payments and cash management operations.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Effective relationship management skills to liaise with various internal teams, regulators and external partners.
- Proven leadership competencies, including team management, decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of relevant banking regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency with payment processing platforms, cash management systems, and related technology tools.
