JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
7 years of attorney-level experience working in customs and international trade law in private practice or in a multinational in-house team in the Asia Pacific region.
Experience with free trade agreements, preferential trade programs and other duty mitigation schemes.
Preferred qualifications:
Compliance experience working in a high-tech environment.
Understanding of customs and export regulations and procedures in key Asia Pacific markets
Ability to work separately and highly team-oriented, with a flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of matters and issues.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and people management skills.
