Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer on the Grocery Experience team, you will:- Design and implement low-latency, scalable solutions across the tech stack, including frontend (JavaScript, CSS, hybrid frameworks), middle tier (Java, Spring), and backend (non-relational databases and AWS services).- Continuously improve existing systems, focusing on test coverage, refactoring, and reducing technical debt. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to solve complex operational challenges.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
