Job Description

This operations role will be responsible for working in one of the sub functions (Confirmation Drafting / Chasing / Matching) within OTC Derivative Confirmations processes during APAC, EMEA and AMRS hours.

Responsibilities

• The candidate needs to have a strong Derivative domain knowledge with adequate experience in OTC Derivative Confirmations
• The candidate needs to have a strong understanding of the Trade Life cycle
• Ensure that the process transactions are processed as per procedures, the quality of the transactions is compliant with predefined parameters.
• The candidate needs to build and strengthen key client / Front Office / Middle Office / OCRM relationship which is essential requirement of the processes.
• Work on process improvements, industry initiatives impacting confirmations and STP / automation initiatives.
• Responsible for clearing of items on the daily exception reports, report & escalate the exceptions /issues to management in timely manner
• Ensuring timely delivery of critical reports to various stake holders

Requirements

• Education -Post Graduate/ MBA Finance
• Certifications If any : NA
• Experience Range : 6-8 Years

Foundational skills:

• Excellent OTC Derivatives domain knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
• Proven analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to notice minor discrepancies / issues
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver results in a high pressure environment.
• Ability to understand the process risk and ensure timely reporting and escalation of critical risks & non-compliance with policies, standards and limits
• Ability to challenge the status quo and drive the automation /process efficiency.
