General Summary:

  • Job function: Android Framework Stability team

  • Skills/experience:

  • Minimum 4+ years of Work experience on Android Framework. Should have good understanding on Android Internals.

  • Should be affluent with the Debug methodologies available on Android and shall have Hands-on experience in Debugging Android Stability Issues.

  • Should be affluent with Object oriented language and Java.

  • Exposure to Analyzing Android Compliance Test failures.

  • Good Programming & Debugging skills - in C, C++ or Java.

  • Responsibilities:

  • In this role, (s)he will be working on Android stability issues reported on Snapdragon chipsets.

  • Build rapport with Google Android team to help resolve the Stability and xTS issues identified in AOSP code.

  • Get to understand the forward looking Debug functionality coming in Android and share it with Peers/Team members across Tech teams in Qualcomm.

  • Study the pattern of Stability issues being reported and accordingly co-work with Google Android team to improvise the Stability of Android Software.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
