What will you do
- Participate in SHE, business compliance, cGMP and all other compliance related matters, where applicable
- Provide coaching and guidance of performing EM & utilities sampling, Microbiological tests and GLIMS processes to analysts and microbiologists, and perform as backup. EM & utilities sampling guidance for IPT operators and technicians as well.
- Solicit quotations and maintain continuous supply of laboratory consumables and culture media to ensure adequate stock level for EM and testing activities
- Coordinate with Quality, respective plant operations, projects and engineering & maintenance
- Perform method transfers/qualifications for drug substances and other drug products.
- Maintain the Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Program
- Review of compendial and corporate policy changes
- Review and approve test reports logbooks, data sheets that are generated in microbiology lab
- Review SOPs and protocols relevant to Microbiology lab.
- Promote Continuous Improvement (CI) culture in the area to ensure sufficient and objective practices
- Any other duties as assigned by the manager
What you must have
- Degree in Life Science or related discipline
- 5 to 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Good understanding of Safety and cGMP practices with previous OJT is preferred
- Experience in operating laboratory equipment and lab computer systems is very desirable.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical development mindset in research and commercialization activities
- Computer Literacy
