Job Summary

Reporting to thetherole involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.
• Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.
• Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production.
• Hold up and oversee new process equipment production.
• Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.
• Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Review processing methods.
• Knowledge of Amada (punching and laser cutting) and Trump (laser cutting) machinery / Familiar with manufacturing processes.
• Experience in design and CAD management – ​​any computer-aided design software.
• Management of KPIs / Daily monitoring of productivity and process improvement (work by result)
• Management of cost reduction projects (continuous improvement)
• Support for implementation of engineering changes (ECO). (desirable)
• Experience in NPI. (punching and laser cutting process (new product development, tool design, DFM (vave) value Analytics Value Engineering) – cost reduction methodology.
• Knowledge of materials: heat treatments, types of materials.
• Data management and analytical capacity.
• Advanced English
• Experience with personnel in charge.
• Availability and service attitude
• Experience in Metal-Mechanical Industry (Desirable).
