Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage staffing for services engagements. Work with stakeholders to identify requirements, acquire suitable resources, and ensure effective utilization. Evaluate and consider cost, utilization, and profit while staffing.
  • Single point of contact with respect to assigned resource assignment and deployment portfolio.
  • Strategic Thinking: Highly Professional with skills and experience in planning and management.
  • Resource Planning: Develops and manages tactical and strategic resource plans, maintain synergy with WW resource management teams and manage staffing requirements in assigned market. Assist in pre-project planning (supporting the creation of the Work breakdown structure and staffing plans).
  • Resource Assignment: Define and execute resource assignment processes. Recommend solutions for balancing resource over-allocation vs resources that are under-utilized.
  • Resource Allocation and Optimization: Analyze, understand, optimize and recommend solutions for resource allocation and strategically deploying them to maximize project success. Assist Segment, Practice in meetings and report progress to matching staffing allocation and demand needs.
  • Technical Understanding: A working knowledge of various technologies and platforms relevant to the enterprise software industry is essential. This includes familiarity with programming languages, frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies such as AI, ML.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and optimize resource utilization. RDM often need to troubleshoot project issues, mitigate risks, and propose innovative solutions to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Conflict Resolution: Strong in conflict resolution and ability to work in fast paced environment and managing changes effectively with positive attitude.
  • Skills: Understands and carries professional knowledge related to assigned department or function.
  • Communication Skills: Strong in active listening, persuasion/negotiation, clear and concise expression. Ability to articulate and compare alternatives approaches.
  • Client Interaction: Ability to engage with clients regarding technical aspects of resource deployment, project scope, and technology solutions. Understanding client needs and translating them into actionable technical requirements is essential for maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Team Skills Alignment: Understand the skill set of available resources throughout their assigned area.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with teams to align with a long-term view of skill(s) needs and skill gaps needed in the organization based on project forecasting.
  • Continuous Learning and Adaptability:
    Given the rapid evolution of technology in the software industry, RDM should possess a willingness to stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices. Adaptability to changing project dynamics and client requirements is vital.
