Job Function:

Assist with management of source code and build automation is an important part of this job.

Create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating working practices, having code reviews and improving products.

Publishing the status and release notes at various stages of the product.

Rarely travel might be required within or outside India.

Absolutely needed requirements:

1 year of SW development work in C or Assembly on an embedded platform for any portable device with a record of strong individual technical achievement.

Clear Understanding of MCU (microcontroller) programming and debugging with very limited memory size (ROM and RAM). Familiarity with prevalent MCU cores such as ARM/MIPS is a must.

Experience with compilers/linkers/make files is a must

Exposure to build automation & continuous integration

Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills are needed.

Must be a go-getter and should be able to work in an aggressive, high pressure environment

Nice to haves (if you don’t have the above these won’t matter):

• Be an expert in solving system level software issues.

• Exposure to sufficiently complex real-time SW module with multiple sub-blocks running on a RTOS.

• Experience with Qualcomm platform and familiarity with log analysis is preferred.

• Familiarity with location technologies such as GPS/Glonass, is a huge plus.

• Familiar with location solutions on Android or more phone/pad operating systems such as Windows is a plus.

• Experience with Mobiles test equipment such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Agilent8960, CMU200 etc. is a plus

Education Requirements

Minimum M.Tech degree in Electronics and communication related field with 1+ years of experience.

B.Tech in the same field will be considered if at least 3 years of relevant experience is available.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
