What a typical day looks like:
- Write high-level and detailed Design Specifications.
- Interface with ASIC or Intellectual Property Partners to implement solutions.
- RTL design and simulations.
- Timing closure & simulation.
- Document Intellectual Property for re-use and/or Patent.
- Physical Design.
- Test Bench Development and simulation.
- Device validation.
- Proto-type board bring-up, test, validation, debug and documentation.
- Support for manufacturing proto-type, pilot and mass production builds.
- Foster relationships with suppliers to understand and influence technology roadmaps.
- May also perform the role of Hardware Design – Digital Logic.
- May also be assigned to support production related debug or NPI activities.
- May also participate in quote development, product architecture or technology development activities.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.
- Typically requires 8-9 years of experience.
