As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate & Investment Bank Treasury team, you will design and implement the next generation buildout of a cloud-native liquidity risk management platform. This role is crucial in managing the firm’s liquidity risk and meeting regulatory reporting obligations across 50+ markets. You will be part of a team that ensures end-to-end data quality and controls for the Corporate & Investment Bank .
Job responsibilities
- Execute standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Apply knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation.
- Gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development.
- Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification onsoftware engineeringconcepts and 2+ years applied experience in Java and React
- Strong hands-on expertise with React.
- Strong technical development experience on effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices on configuration management and code refactoring.
- Strong in J2EE & OOPS Design Patterns.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Cloud, AWS (any certifications on AWS would be beneficial).
- Ability to work with a delivery-focused approach, work without direction, and exhibit the role of an Individual Contributor.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark.
- Exposure to AWS Cloud.
