Job responsibilities

  • Manage costs in line with agreed budgets.
  • Manage outsourced print and mail activities
  • Support business and client projects
  • Develop relationships with key contact and day to day internal clients.
  • Set and review local operating procedures within standard framework.
  • Performance management of direct reports including performance evaluations & corrective action, may be involved in some level of salary planning
  • Assigns & sets workflow priorities
  • Ensure that training and development for all staff is appropriate and effective
  • Maintain working knowledge of production equipment in line with job specification.
  • Advise users and staff on the appropriate methods of production and provide technical support and advice where necessary
  • Oversee reasonable ad hoc duties as required by the Operation Manager

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • High School Diploma required or the equivalent. College Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years people manager experience
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, time management and planning skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous experience in a print and mail background is a plus
  • Self starter that can work independently with minimal supervision
