As a Techno-Functional Tester, you will be accountable & responsible to Prepare test strategy, test plan, test scenario, test scripts based on the project requirements. Execute functional and regression test cases. Report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process. Involve in review meetings and walk through meetings. Candidate should have knowledge on Banking – Captive and Auto Finance Sector applications and platforms like FIS, ALFA etc.

Skills and attributes for success

• Experience in Manual and Automation test processes on Captive and Auto Finance Sector applications and platforms like FIS, ALFA etc.

• Participate in planning, estimation, and scheduling processes for all testing activities.
• Develop/Customise automation frameworks using BDD/Cucumber, JAVA to perform functional/regression/Data migration test cases.
• Review application designs, requirements, and specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Implement and manage quality control standards, methods, and procedures to ensure the software meets both technical and customer requirements.
• Identify, analyse, and mitigate risks related to software quality at each phase of the software development process.
• Coordinate with different teams, including software developers and project managers, to understand and incorporate their input in the testing processes.
• Maintain a detailed record of test results and relay these results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Continually research and implement best testing practices, tools, and methods.
• Maintaining the Bug Reports and delivery Note details.

• Involved in Peer-Review of the test cases, Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing and User Acceptances Testing.
• Organizing, monitoring defect management process
• Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing
• Involved in review meetings and walk through meetings.
• Attend status calls as needed to report on testing progress
• Review’s data regarding production issues and requests to uncover defects and revises testing strategies as needed.
• Hands on experience on test management tools like JIRA, ADO, ALM

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Candidate should have good knowledge on Captive and Auto Finance Sector applications and platforms like FIS, ALFA etc.
• Hands on experience in building, scaling, migrating and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Create roadmaps in test automation to lead to future state.
• Focus on today’s customer problems related to automation, with an eye out for the future.
• Ensure decisions are made using data to prioritize and solve for problems.
• Apply new technologies to real world in-store customer problems while balancing the cost to scale.
• Work with product, technology, and design to engineer automation solutions in short cycle times.
• Exposure and experience in architecting Gen AI initiatives towards test automation

Academic and Work experience

• BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
• 2-5 years of UAT/Business testing experience in Banking modules with hands on API and Functional automation testing.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly
• Good experience in API automation, Functional Automation, SQL queries
• Should be an individual contributor as well as a good team player.
