Job Description
Key Account Manager
• Be part of a Global Animal Health organization
• Be part of a high-performing team to drive strong results for the business and significant impact for customers
• Based in Petaling Jaya
• The key account manager is responsible for handling the important customers that make up the highest percentage of business unit sales, build and maintain a good relationship with the customers.
• The key account manager will be the major contact point all key customer matters and response to the client’s needs to promote customer’s performance.
• The key account manager will also help in team management
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Contributes to achieve maximal sales and market share
• Routinely (70% of time) plans for field visit responsible key customers
• Coordinate with marketing team to in develop key account business strategy to deliver sales achievement.
• Analyze and communicate team needs, customer needs & feedback to the business.
• Establish sales forecast
• Work as good teamwork and support customer and team growth.
• Routinely (30% of time) plans for field visit with PSR and coaches the PSR of the following areas:
• Recruit and coach staffs on professional knowledge and job-related skills
• Set up KPIs to appraise staff’s performance
• Lead, supervise and support team members to ensure that they will achieve their own targets and career growth.
• Identifies training needs for individual PSR to close his/her competency gap
• Monitor the PSR’s development as planned
• Initiates report on time, suggests actions that have an impact on future.
• Report to management include sales performance, promotional activity, competitive activity, and manpower development plans.
• Cooperate with other departments to fulfill assigned tasks
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Minimum 4 years with specific to sales experiences. Veterinary Medicine or Animal Science background is preferable.
• Good in data analytic, strategic thinking, planning and execution.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu
• Travel 30% within Malaysia
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Good interpersonal relationship skills
• Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
• Good leadership and coaching skills.
