Key Responsibilities - Ensure compliance to industry standards ARP4754 and ARP4761.
- Analyze system / safety requirements (FHA) and determine criticality of the system functions and items.
- Decompose the safety requirements using analytical methods (FTA, FMEA) and define safety measures and assumptions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders / customers to ensure the safety measures and assumptions are correctly allocated and understood.
- Verify the safety measures are correctly implemented (System / SW / HW reviews, CMA).
Key skills and qualifications
- University degree in engineering field
- Knowledge of FMEA / FTA methods
- Elementary knowledge of one (or more) of the following standards SAE ARP 4754A / SAE ARP4761 / IEC 61508 / ISO 26262 / EN 50129
- Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
- Self-motivation, ability to work with little supervision, can-do attitude
