Job Area:
Responsibilities include:
Execution of Qualcomm AI product & technology road-map in support of the BU vision and strategic technical plan in partnership with Engineering, Marketing, BD and Sales.
Help define and execute Snapdragon AIE strategy in China, and responsible for managing China specific product requirements from OEMs and other partners, including HW/SW roadmap, features, Tools, Development Kit etc., Maintain and drive internal team especial Engineering team for these requirements.
Identify and anticipate key market trends, lead competitive analysis, and contribute to product planning activities for Snapdragon AIE.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Chinese OEMs and Eco-system partners as well as Internet giants.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above
5+ years of experience in Product Marketing/Planning/Development, either for a leading SOC company or a top smartphone OEM - Strong technical knowledge of AI/ML is required.
Ability to drive projects effectively in a cross-functional, international team - Excellent communication skills are mandatory- Must be able to quickly understand complex concepts, simplify and translate them for a variety of audiences, and communicate them very clearly and effectively.
Native fluency in Mandarin Chinese as well as exceptionally strong English language skill is a firm requirement. The ideal candidate will be expected to be able to give presentations to large audiences on AI/ML topics in either English or Mandarin.
Frequent business travel is a requirement
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in technical or engineering.
Experience in handsets, PC will be a strong plus.
Experience of AI H/W, framework and Gen AI is a strong plus.
Experience of multimedia is a strong plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 8+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
High school Diploma or equivalent and 10+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Marketing, Technical or related field.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Engineering, Marketing, Technical or related field.
• 8+ years of Product Marketing or related work experience.
• 5+ years of leading strategic or business performance initiatives and/or organizational change initiatives.
• 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above)
• 4+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• 1+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Leverages expert knowledge of Product Marketing principles and best practices to identify, implement, and oversee products, projects, and programs.
• Develops strategies and plans product positioning in collaboration with senior management to drive market entry of Qualcomm product lines.
• Evaluates competitive product analysis and formulates long-range plans and objectives for specific product areas.
• Evaluates content and executes marketing plans for Qualcomm products with minimal guidance.
• Synthesizes data to make business decisions driven by strategy to influence key stakeholders across the organization.
• Manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and ecosystem partners to promote products and technologies.
• Manages cross-functional teams and collaborates across Product Management; meets regularly with peers and business unit to discuss product and go-to market plans.
• Acquires advanced knowledge of Product Marketing field, Qualcomm products and technologies, and industry and competitive landscape by attending educational workshops and expanding personal networks within and outside of the organization.
Level of Responsibility:
• Working independently with minimal supervision.
