Job Description

We are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer in the Central Engineering Group. The job requirement includes:

• Design Printed Circuit Board (PCB) level subsystems that are part of an entire inspection or metrology system.

• Responsible for the complete design process from requirements specification, feasibility studies, cost and scheduling, to conducting various analysis (such as circuit, timing, thermal/cooling, electrical loads),
• Firmware development on FPGA/MCU/DSP.
• Conceptual and detailed design using design tools (OrCAD, AutoCAD), detailed drawings, design review presentations,
• Procurement of prototype parts, system integration, prototype testing, and handoff to manufacturing.
• Work with other engineering groups such as Optics Engineers, Systems Engineers andManufacturing/ServingEngineers to ensure flawless integration and test at the subsystem and system level.
• Develop the required supporting documentation, such as assembly, test fixtures and procedures, and service manuals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Understand fundamentals of electrical design principles, analog and digital circuits, motion control, data acquisition, firmware.
• Proficient with electrical CAD software, OrCAD is preferred.
• Good English communication skills. Willing to travel worldwide.
