DESCRIPTION

As a member of this global team, you will engage with key stakeholders across various disciplines. You will work with multiple stakeholder teams to ensure the ICT infrastructure is fit for purpose, and ready for commencement of network device commissioning activities. The role will also require engagement with third party ICT design consultants, and management of Low Voltage Contractors (LVC).You are the right person for this job if you have a solid end user focus and a passion for producing high-quality deliverables. You must be a self-starter and a critical thinker to deliver results with an intense curiosity and drive for learning. You must demonstrate the ability to efficiently plan and prioritize deliverables and resources across multiple projects and working groups. This position requires you to manage stakeholder expectations, schedules and scope. You must exhibit bias for action, and not rely on others to show you the path forward. You are the right person for this position if you take ownership of your work, and challenge the status quo.Key job responsibilities- Attend project meetings as necessary to review progress and track room ready
- Review LVC weekly status reports
- Review ICT design consultant onsite observation (OSO) and QA reports during the execution phase of projects
- Conduct site visits at various stages of the execution phase to review LVC quality, adherence to ICT specifications, as well as to identify opportunities to version existing design and subsequent product selection.
- Audit and inspect the network hardware installation & room ready standards for compliance, verify defects and generate punch lists.
- Report and generate corrective action/remediation plans.
- Review LVC Risk & Issue logs.- Timely and concise communication (both written/verbally) with key stakeholders.
- Update internal reporting tools to communicate progress to key stakeholders.
- Develop, track, and report project metrics as necessary.
- Encourage continuous improvement by conducting and documenting LVC performance reviews, identifying root cause trends and submitting Lessons Learned to mitigate future recurrence.- Track and review post project documentation (i.e. test results, As installed drawings, Warranty) to achieve project closure.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process efficiency, building of tools & standardization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Industry experience with Information and Communications Technology (ICT) design
- Industry experience of working with fiber optic components, cabling including racking & stacking, and interconnect products, technologies and standards in a corporate environment
- Industry experience in QA methodology and tools
- BICSI Technician Certification or internationally recognized equivalent


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- City & Guilds 3667 Communications Cabling & Networks
- Certified Network Infrastructure Technician (CNIT)
- Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP)
- Certified Telecommunications Project Management (CTPM)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- 5+ Years’ experience in delivery and coordinating corporate office fit outs from design concept through to deployment/construction and close out.
- Ability to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce spend, while maintaining and/or improving quality, reliability, or maintainability
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and maintain high quality standards
- Ability to simultaneously work and manage multiple projects, prioritize & consistently deliver results in ambiguous, complex, and fast-paced environment
- Experience in communicating with end-users, technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, articulate features, technical designs, and strategy to name a few
- Experience of Revit, Auto-CAD, Bluebeam or other Computer Aided Design Tools
