Job Description

We’re seeking an individual who is comfortable navigating on a computer, experienced with 10-key and data entry while working in a fast-paced production environment to meet deadlines.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Central.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performs simple, routine and/or repetitive clerical functions according to standard procedures or instructions.
  • Sorts and files correspondence, cards, invoices, receipts and other records in alphabetic or numerical order or according to subject matter and may retrieve archived files.
  • Processes paperwork by gathering and verifying data and transferring into a standard format.
  • Generates correspondence and routine reports.
  • Posts to and extracts data from records and files. Stamps, sorts and distributes department mail. Photocopies and proofreads documents.
  • May verify and process documents, bills, invoices and vouchers.
  • May perform other clerical duties as directed.
  • Duties may include functions related to transaction processing, data entry, archiving, researching, and machine troubleshooting.
  • Researches exceptions and escalate issues to management as appropriate.
  • May have the opportunity to recommend and implement developed processing improvements within production.
  • Certain positions will require the ability to move trays and carts of work, stand or sit for extended periods of time, and repetitive motions.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail received from USPS, Fedex, UPS and internal departments.
  • Delivers and picks up mail to/from internal departments, which may include lifting up to 50 lbs.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of related work experience

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
