Your role:
Initiate improvement and optimization activities in closecooperationwith your partners in innovation, procurement and operations through applying cost and value engineering levers.
Enhance thecompetitivenessand profitability of products and services through cost assessment, design to value, modularization, and standardization
Responsiblefor cost and value engineering projects, trainings and coaching.
supportbusinesses and collaborate across functions to realize improvement roadmaps.
Drive towards a larger Community of Practice on Cost Engineering topics and processes in Philips.
Identify best practices, promote knowledge sharing in the network of value engineers, and through this improve our current working processes, methods, tools and standards.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired3+ years of working experience in a technology company (e.g. Consumer Electronics, Lighting, Healthcare, Automotive) in product innovation, research, procurement, production/manufacturing, product management/marketing or similar function.
Your skills include Project management experience gained (lean manufacturing, six sigma programs, consulting), cost management, quality management and/or supply chain management.
You have aBS/MS degree in a technical subject (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Software Engineering or similar)
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
