POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Finance Director here at Honeywell, you will hold a key leadership position, responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to the finance function. Your role will involve developing and executing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, you will align financial goals with overall business objectives. Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals, you will oversee all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Your expertise in analyzing financial data will enable you to provide valuable insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies will be a critical aspect of your role. As a Finance Director, you will also be responsible for managing budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning. You will report directly to our Chief Financial Officer-PMC and you’ll work out of our Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the financial performance and success of Honeywell by driving financial strategies, providing insightful guidance, and ensuring operational excellence. You will be responsible for managing budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and other financial planning and analysis tasks for $1BM Sales business. You will play a part and lead others in supporting financial landscape, speed, quality and cost efficiency thru budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze Budget/Forecast variances to Actual and review with management team, providing with insights into drivers of revenue, risks and opportunities.
  • Development and implementation of tools, systems, and processes to support the successful completion of timely and accurate forecasts.
  • Business partnership with the PMC General Manger and CFO, Sales, Marketing, and ISC and Business Operations to create increased visibility into operational strategy and performance with the goal of driving speed, quality and cost efficiency.
  • Monthly/weekly reporting and Month-end closing activities
  • Lead Forecasting Process: SRO, AOP, STRAP, Estimates and Pulses
  • Partner with Supply Chain
  • GM/Business Leader support, business review, global requirement
  • Real Analytics (Design and Implementation - Adoption)
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the finance function
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with overall business objectives
  • Oversee all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to drive informed decision-making
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies

MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance or related roles
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and achieving business objectives
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of financial principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software, SAP/Hyperion, and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
