Responsibilities:

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning and risk technology to meet specific business needs or user areas. Participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production.
• Act as a liaison between users/traders, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors.
• Provide technical, business, operational and monitoring support for users of Citi applications. This includes providing quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help us and the business succeed.
• Manages, maintains and supports applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality and functionality against service level expectations.
• Start of day checks, continual monitoring using ITRS/Geneos, end of day handovers.
• Assess risk and impact of production issues and escalate to business and technology management in a timely manner.
• Expected to be able to raise problems to appropriate technology and business teams, while adhering to Service Level Agreements.
• Considers implications of the application of technology to the current environment. Identifies risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues; communicates impact.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement.
• Recommend security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality.
• Partners with appropriate development and production support areas to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Develop and maintain technical support documents.
• Reviews and develops application contingency planning to ensure continuity of business to users.
• Communicate with stock exchange in raising queries and production issues. Demonstrate knowledge of market structure, legal requirements, and order routing.
• Serve as advisor to stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
