As a Marketing Program Manager you will be responsible for:
- Interpreting creative briefs to develop exceptional creative copy that addresses audience pain points and establishes Akamai's authority
- Researching (internally and externally/competitively) and understanding the subject matter and target audiences
- Presenting copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to internal stakeholders as needed
- Varying the tone, style, and characteristics demanded by project and target audience while staying to to our brand voice. Assignments will cover both long-and short-form writing, including social media copy, display ads, video scripts, white papers and more
- Staying up to date on communications and content marketing best practices as well as relevant industry trends
- Collaborating with a team of marketers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of final product
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
- Have experience writing and editing, preferably covering technology and cybersecurity topics, with strong storytelling
- Experience writing for digital channels such as email and social media
- Demonstrate project management skills and the ability to prioritize and execute efficiently when priorities shift
- Have solid knowledge of content-marketing and SEO best-practices and use data to derive insights and actions
- Build alignment, trust and productive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
