Key Qualifications
- Minimum BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- In-depth knowledge of processor instruction set architecture and microarchitecture.
- Strong in C/C+ + programming and scripting (Perl/Python etc)
- Experience with assembly programming.
- Direct experience with the ARM ISA a plus.
- Good knowledge of the design and verification process
- Background in silicon bring-up and debug experience a plus.
- Good problem-solving skills
Description
- Create CPU validation test plans, ensuring all key features are covered.- Develop SW workloads to stress test the CPU and integrate these into our existing validation environments.- Help maintain and improve our random test generator by adding support for new CPU architectural and microarchitectural features.- Drive the bring-up and execution of our silicon validation tools in pre-silicon (FPGAs) and post-silicon (development boards)- Debug functional silicon failures closely with Design and DV counterparts.

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
