The Senior Data Manager for Payments is a Global role and will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and enhancing data governance and control frameworks in line with the Enterprise Data Policy & Services Data Strategy.
What you’ll do
- Ensure data control frameworks are in line with the Citi Enterprise Standard and the Services Data Strategy
- Collaborate with Data Governance teams to enforce data ownership and accountability across the Payments Business
- Identify, assess and mitigate data related risks, including on the Producer and Consumer sides
- Develop controls to ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency, working in partnership with the central services team and Product Data Owners
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data controls processes and standards
- Work with Operations and Technology with regards to process design and vendor procurement as well as communicate business plans
- Participate in budgeting and planning for strategic priorities and initiatives
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we’ll need from you
- Strong Data management experience in a Financial Institution
- Proven Transaction Banking Experience
- Experience leading cross-functional team to define and achieve high value business goals
- Broad and diverse functional experience
- Demonstrated experience driving business innovation, leveraging management information, and data analytics to drive results
- Experience in scenario development and forecasting as well as experience serving a range of clients
- Demonstrated knowledge of product development, financial acumen, and investment processes across asset classes
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated analytical and influencing skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience, Master’s degree preferred
