An experienced media relations professional is required for this role. The successful candidate, who should have a strong understanding of working in a global organization, will be required to build strong collaborative relationships amongst the media, business leaders and professionals in the organization. Prior experience in the media, PR industry and professional services firms is highly advantageous.
Your key responsibilities
- Maintain and develop media network and build good media relationship for EY
- Prepare bilingual press materials such as press release, newsletter, speech script, media briefing book etc.
- PR event/press conference planning and execution for various marketing programs
- Identify suitable media opportunities and pitch media interviews for EY leaders
- Involve in external agencies management and media monitoring service
- Support social media initiatives and PR crisis communications
To qualify for the role you must have
- 3 to 5 years of relevant PR working experience, preferably gained in a media organization, a PR agency or multinational professional services firm
- With GBA experience is a plus, candidate with more epxerience would be considered as Manager
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in journalism, communications, or related disciplines
- Strong media resources in state media, business & financial media, and new media, KOL etc. Possess a deep understanding of the media landscape and the changing trends
- Able to offer media insights and recommendations to achieve targeted and qualified media exposure
- Excellent communication skills, sophisticated to work and communicated with C-suite executives
- Solid content development writing skills both in Chinese and English
- Strong organizational skills, able to plan and manage media events at senior levels
- Experienced in handling with PR crisis
- Proactive, fast learner, and a dedicated team player
- Results-oriented and able to work independently under tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
