Because we are working on new, potentially complex architecture, we need someone who is resourceful, eager to learn, a creative problem solver, and has strong collaborative skills. We're looking for someone who can:

Develop scalable and robust backend services
Design, develop, lead and deliver features with a high level of quality
Participate and code and architecture reviews
A good understanding of security concepts
Solve complex problems with simple solutions
Rapidly ideate and prototype proof-of-concepts
Take the initiative to identify gaps and opportunities in our product and technology stack
Collaborate with teams locally and across the world
Be an active member of self-empowered Scrum teams producing software using Agile principles and engineering-driven decisions

Role Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering, or something equivalent
5 + years of professional software development experience
Experienced and fluent working in Java and springBoot
Experienced and fluent working with databases and SQL
Building cloud applications and microservices with the following in mind (high availability, scalability, performance, and security)
Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex software systems
Strong sense of drive, urgency, and ownership
Must have a passion for delivering high-quality, fully tested and documented code
Have the flexibility to adapt to technologies and change directions quickly

Enjoy working in a collaborative team, fast-paced and highly dynamic work environment
Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills, including humility and being open to giving and receiving feedback
Experience with microservice architecture, back-end design principles, software development best practices
