Responsibilities:
Carrying out cost analyses for new and further developments with regard to market-specific requirements
Collaboration on cost reduction projects
Initiating and analysing measurements, trials and functional tests
Carrying out design analyses, further development and change management
Creating product-specific documentation (e.g. operating and maintenance instructions, material specifications)
Designing valves in accordance with regulatory requirements
Calculation of flows with the aid of CFD simulations
Supporting the production, purchasing, sales and quality departments with various questions relating to the product portfolio
Discussions with suppliers
Active participation in continuous improvement by communicating own suggestions (use of the KAIZEN process)
Compliance with work instructions and process descriptions as well as the applicable regulations on occupational health and safety and environmental protectionRequirements profile
Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering or comparable
Ideally 10 years of experience in the field of development/design, preferably of gas pressure control and safety valves
Ideally advanced knowledge of fluid mechanics, CFD simulations with Solid Works or ANSYS
Experience in working with 3D CAD systems, ideally with Solid Works
Basic knowledge of project management
Knowledge of common manufacturing technologies
Knowledge of FEM desirable Knowledge of material resistance to gases from the energy industry
Good knowledge of MS Office
Ideally SAP/R3 experience
English and German (written and spoken , German is score plus item) Additional Information
