Required / basic qualifications -

• 5+years experienceinsoftware development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, and/or anomaly detection (OR Doctorate in Statistics, Mathematics, ComputerScienceor related field)
• 5+years experiencein computer security industry with knowledge of malware analysis/reverse engineering, threat hunting, incident response or security operations.
• 5+years experienceprogramming in Python, C#,C++or Rust.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the below qualifications:

Reverse Engineering skills: familiar with debuggers, disassemblers, network protocols, file formats, sandboxes, hardware/firmware internals, software communication mechanisms

○ Low-level/security knowledge of Windows or other operating systems.

○ Offensive security research experience.

○ Experience using MITRE ATT&CK framework.

○ Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies.

Other RequirementsAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements arefor this role. These requirementsinclude but- This position will beto pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Conduct research and develop proofs of concept that help advance the state-of-the-art of threat analysis and protection.
