What you’ll do

  • Support the Head of Corporate FX Sales in Pakistan with coverage of key TTLC and Global Subsidiaries with deal origination, execution, market updates and internal stakeholder management
  • Have a thorough understand of market regulations and developments to ensure we can appropriately manage FX flows to support our client base
  • Enhance client relationships by providing meaningful engagement and focusing on broader solutions to challenging market dynamics
  • Partner closely with other key businesses and functions, including our corporate banking franchise as well as our leading Treasury and Trade Solutions business, to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of clients
  • Achieve ambitious goals in both market and wallet share from the identified clients
  • Champion multi-product and/or cross-regional solutions and coordinate with respective product teams to drive deal generation
  • Ensure global team communication regarding client activity as well as timely and succinct market updates to enhance the onshore franchise
  • Respond to customer escalation for operational/customer service issues, including complex or cross-geography issues
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

What we’ll need from you

  • Relevant experience in a sales or markets role. FX market experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through value added service and commercial skills
  • An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships and solutions
  • Keen interest in the FX markets and the evolving regulatory landscape
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good team ethic with the ability to build effective relationships and leverage a network of partners across the business.
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
