The Offshore Data Utility Lead role leads the mobilization of the Strategic Ledger offshore data capability to support future releases. This capability includes data profiling of upstream data sources, management of common inbound and outbound interface templates, coordination with upstream data sources, data quality solutions within Strategic Ledger, and coordination with downstream data consumers. A key objective of this capability is to industrialize our data integrations and to drive adherence to enterprise data standards within Strategic Ledger and upstream and downstream of Strategic Ledger. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate both within and outside of Strategic Ledger. Role will work closely with selected external partner to setup this capability. Full management responsibility for multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. Role will report to the overall Strategic Ledger Data Lead.Responsibilities:

• Mobilize the offshore data utility capability, including structuring teams, hiring, and defining team roles and responsibilities
• Define the global model for managing data utility activities including "follow the sun" approach and onshore/offshore hands off and cadence
• Lead upstream system data profiling activities
• Plays a part in setting and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern data policies
• Full management responsibility of team, including management of people, budget and planning
• Responsible for helping drive upstream and downstream adherence to data standards
• Partners with finance, technology and external providers in delivery of role
• Often requires development of new concepts and approaches to solving issues affecting data
• Performs other duties and functions as assigned
• Appropriately assess risk when data decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant experience within the financial services industry required
• In depth knowledge of banking data and architectures
• Requires thorough knowledge of defining integration standards, data profiling/quality, and data analysis
• Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
• Frequently involved with a variety of broad based and complex issues requiring conceptual thinking.

Education:

• Bachelors degree and managerial experience
