Main Objective:

For the business Grid Control (dispatching for electrical network), you will be the expert for the advanced distribution management system (ADMS). You will be able to translate requitement from customer to real implementation in our system considering capacity of our products.

With your general expertise in our Grid Control application, you will be the technical lead of major projects. You will work closely with the project manager and ensure that the technical execution of your project will be efficient and in line with customer/contract requirement.

Function Objective:

1. Expert ADMS

As an expert, you will be the reference person for ADMS.

You will focus on:

• ADMS Functions and Operations: Serve as a subject matter expert for ADMS functions, including network modelling, system integration, and operational support within Spectrum Power.
• Standards and Guidelines: Develop and implement new standards and guidelines with the support of global engineering of Spectrum Power.
• System Implementation: Implement ADMS function within Spectrum Power solution. Support data acquisition from different sources of customers, develop the automated generation of data base and user interface for Spectrum Power, setup and fine tune the electrical model used to reach acceptance criteria of customer.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ADMS-related issues for systems in operation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of ADMS with other grid management systems.
• Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on ADMS functionalities and best practices.

Technical lead

In addition, you will act as technical lead on some projects.

In this role you will focus on:

• Technical Leadership: Lead the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of grid control solutions using Spectrum Power.
• Project Management: in collaboration with the project manager, oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
• System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of our solution with other grid management systems and external system of the customer

Function Objective:

The role of a Solution Architect for the Siemens Grid Software portfolio is crucial for maximizing sales efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction. The main objective of this role is to
design and implement customized solutionsthat meet the specific needs of clients while leveraging synergies between the different products in the portfolio. This includes:

1. Technical Advice and Support :
• Provide technical and strategic advice to clients to optimize the use of Siemens solutions.
• Ensure continuity in sales assumptions during project execution by supporting creation of execution concept of each project and validating the PM100 milestone and the project planning.
2. Project Execution Support :
• Combine all the portfolio element as PSS Grid Simulation, Gridscale X, Spectrum Power to offer comprehensive and effective solutions.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions.
3. Sales Support :
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to present solutions to clients.
• Prepare and deliver technical demonstrations and product presentations.
4. Design of Customized Solutions :
• Use Siemens Grid Software products to develop personalized solutions that optimize client operations.
• Offer continuous support to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
5. Knowledge Update :
• Stay updated on the Siemens Grid Software product portfolio and market developments.
• Product Roadmap Mastery Follow and understand the Siemens Grid Software product roadmap to anticipate developments and new features.
• Use this knowledge to advise clients and guide them towards the most suitable solutions for their future needs.
• Participate in training and seminars to maintain a high level of technical competence.
• Become the ambassador of new products for our Belgian team while ensuring the maturity of the solutions proposed to clients.
