Job Overview: Core responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Collaborating with Arm businesses to create, implement and lead SAP solutions, products, and services.
- Delivering SAP change initiatives.
- Leading a SAP team developing and supporting SAP products and services in a 24x7 or 16x5 support model.
- Transforming SAP products and services to stay lockstep with advances in technologies and changes to the business environment.
- Maintaining and/or improving SAP products and services through continuous improvement.
- There is a requirement for on-call.
Required Skills and Experience: A strong combination of technical knowledge and experience leading a team in SAP technologies is needed. Hold at least a B.Tech in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with at least 8 years of overall IT experience of which a minimum of 5 years is in a leadership role recruiting, training, leading and line-managing successful technical teams. Have robust DevOps project management and delivery skills, with a verifiable history of delivering complex software projects.
Broad SAP Module Knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of a wide range of SAP modules (such as FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, HR/HCM, and others) and their integration points.
- SAP System Architecture and Landscape Design.
- Deep knowledge of SAP system architecture, including understanding of SAP Basis, NetWeaver, and the technical aspects of SAP S/4HANA.
- SAP Configuration & Customisation.
- Solid skills in SAP system configuration and customisation, including an understanding of how to tailor SAP systems to meet specific business requirements. This involves a good grasp of both the functional and technical aspects of SAP.
- SAP Project Implementation and Lifecycle Management.
- Expertise in SAP project methodologies, such as ASAP (Accelerated SAP), and experience in handling the lifecycle of SAP implementations, including planning, customisation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Process - Proficiency in DevOps (CI/CD), Waterfall and Agile practices and frameworks such as PRINCE2, Scrum or Kanban, including highly accurate estimation of development tasks.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project and delivery risks early, evaluate their impact, and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and the ability to implement processes that ensure the SAP team's outputs meet the Arm standards.
- Performance Measurement: Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate the team's progress and productivity.
- Ensure robust support levels and a frictionless user experience is always maintained.
- A continuous improvement attitude with the ability to analyse current processes, identify areas for enhancement, and implement improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Leadership & People Skills - Hire, develop and line-manage a functional / technical leadership team and deliver L2 and L3 SAP projects and support services.
- Ability to set a clear vision for the team, outlining goals and expectations. Conveying ideas, expectations, and feedback, both in one-on-one and group settings.
- Foster professional growth of team members through regular mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
- Influence team, customers, collaborators and partners, gaining their support and commitment.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience: - Relevant SAP certifications that demonstrate a broad and deep understanding of SAP systems. Certifications could include SAP Certified Technology Associate, SAP Certified Application Professional! or module-specific certifications like SAP Certified Application Associate in any of the core modules!
