Key Responsibilities of the Data Engineer:
- You will have the opportunity to join our exciting Tech Hub in Warsaw, as we continue to grow and strengthen our technical strategies. The Senior Data Engineer will have a particular focus on Real-Time decisioning platforms, working on cutting edge industry products
- Continuous effort to automate and increase team efficiency
- Collaborate directly with both developers and business stakeholders
- Assist in collection and documentation of requirements from business
- Analyze data problems and provide solutions
- Assess opportunities for improvements and optimization
Key Requirements of the Data Engineer:
- 5+ years of experience working with open source databases
- 5+ years of experience working with ETL and related data pipeline technologies
- You will have experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization/exploration tools in a practical setting
- The Data Engineer will have cloud experience with (GCP or AWS ; Redshift and RDS)
- You will have exposure to elements of the following technical stack: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Scala
- The Data Engineer will have experience with cloud-based ETL tools, EMR, Spark on K8s, or Databricks
- You will have engagement skills, with an ability to take complex technical concepts and translate them into business communications
- The Data Engineer will thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; with the ability to shift and prioritize based on our evolving technology estate
