As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for providing technical expertise and facilitating field service operations. You will work on complex projects, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction. Your problem-solving skills and technical knowledge will have a direct impact on the success of our field service operations and the satisfaction of our customers. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you’ll work out of our Kanata, ON location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our customers by providing exceptional field service and ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote, build and maintain good customer relations
- Test, calibrate verify system and peripheral devices. Testing to be performed according to all applicable standards and codes (e.g. ULC536).
- Understand, implement and repair building network topologies including, but not limited to, BacNET, Cbus, Modbus and LON.
- Verify system functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements and shop drawings/sequence of operations, etc.
- Respond to Emergency Service Calls as required, in accordance with customer contract deliverables.
- May require some performance of duties outside of normal working hours as required

YOU MUST HAVE
- Technical College Diploma related to electro-mechanics, electrical engineering technologies, automation systems, or instrumentation.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies
- Valid Canadian driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain Government of Canada Secret security clearance
- The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
