As a Japanese speaking assurance staff member in EY, you'll work as part of these engagements. Your Japanese language skills will play a crucial role in interacting with our Japanese clients and stakeholders, showcasing your technical expertise, and understanding cultural nuances.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist in Assurance engagements in close collaboration with the team lead and project managers.
2. Utilize your Japanese language skills in facilitating clear communications with Japanese clients and stakeholders.
3. Involve in providing high-quality Assurance services, adhering to the project timelines and schedules.
4. Assist in writing reports, proposals, and other necessary documentation in both English and Japanese.
5. Working predominantly on offshore engagements. Communication, written and verbal, with the local EY teams would be expected.
6. Leverage your understanding of Japanese business and corporate culture in client interactions.
7. Participate in business meetings and team discussions, providing your valuable insights.
8. Adherence to EY audit methodologies (related to assurance, risk assessment and prioritization, risk responses, and risk management capability assessments), supporting tools and other materials.

• Fluency in Japanese, with the ability to understand, speak, read, and write with proficiency.
• 1-2 years of experience in management consulting or relevant field is preferred.
• Good understanding of the Assurance process and project lifecycle.
• Japanese Language Competence Level N3 – N1
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or relevant field.
• High level analytical ability and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team, showing excellent collaborative skills.
To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's degree accounting, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline
• Previous roles – IT Audit Staff, IT Compliance Specialist, IT Internal Auditor Information Risk Consultant, Information Security Analyst, and other related roles
• Must be amenable to work in McKinley Hill, Taguig City or Ortigas
• Successful candidate must work more than standard hours when necessary.

• Amenability to do hybrid work set up (More than 2 days per week) in Mckinley West Taguig
