In this role, you will:
Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups
Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities
Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives
Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Consumer lending experience, preferably in credit card
Quality Assurance experience
Knowledge and understanding of analytical methods used in root cause analysis
Strong analytical skills with high attention to details and accuracy
Ability to identify issues and escalate in a timely manner
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Knowledge and understanding of Fiserv
Job Expectations:
Perform system or documentation reviews to validate controls are working as designed and employee processing is in compliance with Wells Fargo procedures and policies.
Record exceptions and escalate to the first line of defense business area for resolution.
Provide control performance feedback to internal partners, score and track expectations and results.
Collaborate and consult with team management and internal partners for escalation resolution and final quality assurance effectiveness decisions.
Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor control effectiveness for supported lines of business.
Develop procedural documentation and databases to support work.
Monitor quality assurance processes to identify gaps and ensure change management procedures are followed
Support quality assurance audit, exam and testing deliverables and line of business engagements status reporting.
