• Developing high-quality eBPF code for the Cilium OSS and Enterprise, while following open source development principles and best practices
• Technical guidance and mentorship
• Active participation in the open-source community
• Possibility to speak at public conferences about achievements (if desired)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Computer Science degree, or equivalent experience
• experience with C, and eBPF knowledge
• Experience in Linux systems design and networking

Preferred Qualifications:

• nowledge about Linux systems design and networking stack.
• Experience with Go and Cilium CNI.
• Desire to write high quality and efficient code
• Previous experience in tech lead roles is a plus
• A public track record of open-source code commits is a plus
• Experience in public speaking at technical open-source conferences is a plus
