Minimum Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Audio DSP for audio applications (i.e. echo and double talk, microphone array processing, beam-forming, multi-band compression, equalization, noise suppression in portable devices)
- Demonstrated coding and debugging skills in Python and C/C++
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in multi-functional teams
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tuning of echo cancellation algorithms, providing the correct tradeoff between echo return loss and double talk performance, and speech intelligibility
- Background in applying Machine Learning methods and frameworks for automatic speech recognition
- Knowledge on transducers and their acoustic integration
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $104,520 and $187,600 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
