In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Developer you’ll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create innovative solutions for our clients within the SAP ecosystem.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, ensuring the applications delivered are high performing, highly available, responsive, and maintainable.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Work together with architects and technical leaders to design, develop, and implement customized SAP applications that enhance business processes and user experience.
• Involvement in every step of the process, from design, development, testing release changes and troubleshoot where necessary, providing a great customer service.
• Developing and maintaining SAP ABAP code to support business processes and SAP applications.
• Design and implement integration solutions using SAP CPI to connect SAP and non-SAP systems and/or developing SAP Fiori applications to provide a seamless user experience and improve existing interfaces.
• Staying up to date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Ideally 7-10 years’ relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA and its integration with ABAP.
• Proven experience with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and/or experience in designing and developing SAP Fiori applications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
